City Gallery

The City Gallery at nightcityrp.com/gallery shows photos players take in the city. Every card has a title, the character who took it and the likes it got on the website. Posting is done from your phone. Every photo is checked by staff first - once it is approved it shows on the website and the server bot posts it in the Discord gallery channel.

Posting a photo

Open your phone, open Camera and take the photo (ENTER). The camera works even with no service - only sharing needs signal.
Open Photos, tap the photo, then the share icon (top right).
Tap Post to Gallery.
Give it a title, pick a category chip (City & Skyline, Cars & Racing, Nightlife, Emergency Services, Nature & Scenery, People & Crews, Events or Other) and choose whether to show where it was taken (area and postal).
Tap Post.

The photo now waits for staff approval - it shows on the website (and in Discord) once staff approve it. Each photo can be posted once, and you can post again after about two minutes.

Good to know

Only the person who took the photo with the phone camera can post it. Photos someone sent you, pictures imported from your computer and video clips can't be posted to the gallery.
Photos in your phone are private and don't expire - posting one to the gallery is what makes it public.
The phone needs signal: airplane mode or no service means no posting.
Your character's name is shown with the photo, so keep it in line with the Community Rules. Staff can remove photos that break them, from the website and Discord.
On the website you can like photos (log in with Discord), filter by category, search titles and sort by Newest, Top This Week or Top All Time.
Each week staff can pick a Photo of the week from the most liked photos: it gets a crown on its card, a Discord announcement and a Gems prize for the photographer.
