Premium Flame Tune

The Premium Flame Tune gives one of your cars (or motorbikes) big coloured exhaust flames that everyone around you can see and hear. You choose two colours and how they are shared out:

  • Blend - both colours sweep smoothly through every exhaust.
  • Split - Color 1 on the left exhausts, Color 2 on the right. A car with one exhaust takes turns.

The tune belongs to the car, not to you. It stays on if you change the plate, and if you sell or trade the car the new owner gets the flames too.

Getting it

Press F4 to open the Gem store and find the Premium Flame Tune on the Items page. Preview flames shows a car in the showroom with flames in a few example colours. Buy it with Gems and claim it from your store stash.

ItemWhat it does
Premium Flame TuneFits flames to a car that has none
Flame RecolourChanges the colours or the mode on a car that already has them

Fitting it

  1. Stand next to your car (or sit in it) and use the kit from your inventory.
  2. Pick Color 1 and Color 2 with the colour square and the Hue bar, or type R G B or a Hex code.
  3. Choose Blend or Split. Preview Color fires the flames for a moment so you can see them on the car.
  4. Press Confirm Setup, check the summary, and press Confirm Installation.

Fitting takes a few seconds. The kit is only used up when fitting finishes. If you walk away from the car the fitting stops and you keep the kit.

You can only fit flames to a car or bike you own. Bicycles, boats, aircraft and emergency vehicles can't take them, and neither can a vehicle with no exhausts.

When they fire

  • Lifting off the gas at high revs - pops and bangs.
  • Rev limiter - hold the gas at full revs, also standing still with the handbrake on.
  • Drifting - sliding sideways on the gas.
  • Flames key - hold K while driving.

Want a quiet drive? Type /flames in the driver seat to switch them off (or on again). The tune stays on the car either way. You can also bind a key to it in the key settings.
