Scrap Yard
Sandy Shores Salvage (the Scrap Yard blip near Sandy Shores) takes in old cars and breaks them down into crafting materials. It only wants certain models. The list changes every hour, and each model on it is taken only once until the list resets. You keep everything that comes out of the car.
The yard won't take a car that's registered to a player.
Get the list
- At the yard, walk to the list spot and press E at Mail me the vehicle list. You have to be on foot.
- After a few seconds a mail from Sandy Shores Salvage arrives on your phone with the models the yard wants right now.
Bring a car in
- Find a car of a model on the list and drive it onto the drop-off spot at the yard.
- Stay in the driver's seat and press E at Disassemble vehicle.
- Your character takes it apart for about half a minute. When it's done, the car is gone.
Rewards
Every car gives two to four piles of materials, picked from Metal Scrap, Plastic, Copper, Iron, Aluminium, Steel and Glass. Now and then you get some Rubber on top. Sell them, use them yourself, or use them for crafting.
Staff can move or disable the scrap yard blip, drop-off and wanted-list spots in F9 → World Spawns.
