NCRP NIGHT CITY RP

Night City Wiki

Guides for every part of life in the city.

Community Rules

The out-of-character rules. They apply in the city, on the website and in our Discord. This is a summary - the full rules at nightcityrp.com/rules win if the two disagree. In-character rules: Roleplay Rules.

Respect

  1. Treat players and staff with respect, in game and in community channels.
  2. No harassment, discriminatory abuse, threats, doxxing or targeted humiliation.
  3. Keep problems with a character separate from problems with the person playing it.
  4. No sexual violence roleplay, sexual harassment, or anything sexualising minors. Stop any sensitive scene the moment someone withdraws consent.
  5. Use a working microphone.
  6. Choose a believable name and look - no names that impersonate staff, mock another player or break the setting.

Cheating and exploits

  1. No cheats, unauthorised automation, duplication or deliberate bug abuse.
  2. Graphics and sound mods must not remove obstacles, reveal hidden players, brighten darkness or give any other advantage.
  3. Found an exploit? Report it privately and don't keep what you got from it - see reporting-bugs.

Characters and accounts

  1. Keep each character's knowledge, money, relationships and property separate.
  2. Don't move assets between your own characters through another player.
  3. Don't use alternate accounts or characters to dodge a punishment.

Economy, property and purchases

  1. Player-to-player sales go through the in-game systems.
  2. Never trade in-game money, items, vehicles or property for real money outside the official store.
  3. Don't abuse business accounts, invoices, payouts or storage permissions.
  4. Purchase problems go in a Store / Payment ticket (Support Tickets). Never post payment details anywhere.

Discord and the website

  1. The same respect rules apply in every channel, DM and forum post.
  2. Keep faction drama in character - never organise harassment through Discord or social media.
  3. Don't threaten to report someone to influence their roleplay.
  4. Don't open duplicate tickets to get a different answer.
