Selling Drugs

Sell hand-to-hand to locals, haggle, manage heat, level up as a dealer and move bricks to the bulk buyer.

Drugs & Crime4 min read

There are two ways to turn product into cash:

Who buysWhat they buy
Locals on the streetJoint, Blunt, Baggie of Weed (3 g)
The bulk buyerWeed Brick only

Better grade / purity means better offers. Every sale gives dealer XP and heats up the block you are on - see Drugs Overview for how dealer level and heat work.

Before you begin

  • Product to sell (see Processing Weed).
  • To be on foot - you can't sell from a vehicle.
  • For the bulk buyer: a Darkweb Tablet to read where he's waiting.
1

Selling to locals

  1. Walk up to a local on foot. [E] Offer to sell floats over their head.
  2. Press E. They stop and turn to you.
  3. They either refuse ("Not interested.") - try someone else - or make an offer: "I'll take 2x for $...".
  4. Pick Deal to hand it over and get paid, Push for more to haggle, or Walk away.

The local chooses what they want from what you carry, and how many.

2

Haggling

  1. Push for more is a gamble. If it works you get a higher "last offer".
  2. If it fails they walk off - and sometimes they call the police.
  3. You can push at most twice per deal, and the second push is harder. Higher dealer levels win more often.
3

Prices and areas

What a local offers depends on grade, the area, the block's heat, your dealer level and a bit of luck.

Area typePricesWatch out for
RichHigherLocals call the police more often
Normal cityNormal-
PoorLowerFewer calls, but robberies are more common
4

Getting robbed

  1. Sometimes a local grabs the product and runs.
  2. Chase them and knock them down (punch, tackle, taser...) before they get away.
  3. Stand next to them and press E on Take your stuff back.
5

Dealing on gang turf

Selling inside a territory owned by a gang you are not in alerts that gang right away: a dark web message from streetwatch, a notification and a red blip on you for a short time. Members dealing on their own turf get a better price and trigger no alert. See Gangs & Turf.

6

The bulk buyer

  1. Find the buyer - a man in a suit, smoking, waiting somewhere quiet. He only shows up once you're fairly close.
  2. Press E on Talk to the buyer. He lists your bricks with a price each.
  3. He only takes a handful of bricks per person per visit.
  4. He moves to a new spot every few hours, or sooner once he has bought his fill.

The bulk buyer advertises on the dark web as wholesale_wes. Carry a Darkweb Tablet, use /dwhints if you just got one, and watch for a new tip when he moves. His spots can be in the city or the countryside, always out of sight.

Ask around which corners are "cold" right now - the dealers who've been at it longest will know. Rich hills pay best but are full of people who like calling the police.

Costs & rewards

  • Cash for every sale - more for better grade, rich areas, cold blocks and a higher dealer level.
  • Dealer XP for every street and bulk sale, up to level 10.
  • Every bulk deal has a small chance that the police get a tip about a big buy.

Common problems

  • No "Offer to sell" prompt - you're in a vehicle, carry nothing they buy, or the person is police, EMS, fire, a ranger, a soldier or a prisoner.
  • "Slow down - people are watching" - leave a few seconds between deals.
  • A local won't buy again - each local only buys once, then not from you for a long while.
  • "That's enough from you today." - you hit the bulk buyer's limit for this visit.
  • "Bricks only." - the bulk buyer doesn't take joints or baggies. Press them into bricks first.
  • Prices keep dropping - the block is hot. Move a couple of blocks.
