Weapon HUD
When you hold a gun, the Night City ammo counter replaces the normal GTA one in the top-right corner. It shows:
- Weapon name in small caps
- Clip - the big number, rounds left in the gun right now
- Reserve - "/ 120", rounds you have left outside the clip
- Ammo bar - how full the clip is
When the clip drops to a quarter or less, the number and bar turn red and pulse. While you reload, RELOADING blinks under the bar. An empty clip shows RELOAD.
Knives, bats, petrol cans and other non-guns don't show it.
Customize Display
Type /ammohud (or bind a key to Weapon HUD: customize display in the keybinds list). A panel opens and the HUD shows a preview, even with no gun out.
- Drag the preview to move the HUD anywhere on screen.
- Show Weapon HUD - turn it off to get the normal GTA ammo counter back.
- Weapon Name / Reserve Ammo - hide the parts you don't need.
- Only When Aiming - the HUD only appears while you aim, shoot or reload.
- Follow Hand - the HUD sits next to your gun hand instead of one fixed spot.
- HUD Size - 50% to 150%.
- UI Style - Minimal, Card, Pill, Digital or Neon.
- Color Mode - Solid uses your colours, RGB cycles through every colour.
- Ammo Text / Progress Bar / Low Ammo - click one to open the colour picker: drag in the square, slide the rainbow bar, type a hex code or click a swatch.
Save Changes keeps it, Cancel (or Esc) undoes everything since you opened the panel, Reset All puts every setting back to the server default.
Your settings are saved on your own PC, so they stay after relogging but don't follow you to another computer.
Thanks! Staff will look at it.
