NCRP NIGHT CITY RP

Night City Wiki

Guides for every part of life in the city.

Running a Clothing Store

A Clothing store business takes over one of the city's seven clothing stores. You set a markup on every piece, keep the rare NCRP pieces in stock, approve checkouts and build mannequin looks that shoppers can buy in one go. When nobody from your business is on duty, the NPC clerk sells for you and the money still goes to your business.

This guide is for owners and staff of a Clothing store business (Owning a Business, Employees & Hiring). For shopping and wearing clothes, see Clothing.

1

Taking over a store

  1. Go inside the store you want and type /bizoffice to place your office computer, then sign in.
  2. Locations → Store counter: stand behind the till and place it. The counter must be inside one of the city's clothing stores - that links your business to it, and each store type only sells its own kind of clothing.
  3. The Store page now shows the store's name, and the store header says "Run by" your business.
2

Setting your prices

  1. Store page → Markup.
  2. Pick one percentage for every piece, from -30% to +100%. It goes on top of the city base prices and shows in the store header as "prices +X%".
3

Restocking NCRP pieces

  1. Store page → Custom pieces in stock. Normal pieces never run out; NCRP originals are limited to a few of each rarity.
  2. Press Refill on a piece. The cost comes out of the business balance.
4

Ringing up sales

  1. Go on duty inside the store.
  2. When a customer checks out, a box appears with their name, the pieces and the total. Press Y to approve or J to decline.
  3. If you don't answer within about 25 seconds, the NPC clerk takes over the sale.
5

Dressing a mannequin

  1. Locations → Mannequin: place up to 6 inside the store.
  2. Dress yourself in pieces this store sells, stand at the mannequin and press G ("Dress like me"), then name the look.
  3. On the Store page, set a discount for buying the whole look. Shoppers press E at the mannequin to get the look in their basket.

Costs & rewards

  • Sales: every sale lands in your business balance, whether a worker or the NPC clerk made it.
  • Restocking: a refill costs about 45% of the piece's retail price, paid from the balance.
