Renovator - Night City Renovations
Fix up houses around the city. Clear the mess, build the new furniture and give the walls a fresh coat of paint. Every task pays, and so does every house you finish.
How to start
- Find the gold Night City Renovations pin on the map (the office in Little Seoul).
- Press E on Marisol, the renovations manager, and pick Start shift. You need a driving licence.
- You change into the work polo (it stays on until you clock out) and the renovation van is waiting in the bay.
Want help? Pick Make a crew and invite up to 3 people standing with you (they press Y). Crews get more tasks per house and a bigger shift target.
A contract
1. Drive to the house. The address is on your GPS. Park the van at the house, you can't start without it nearby.
2. Start the renovation. Press E at the front door. You and your crew go inside your own private copy of the house. Nobody else can walk in on you.
3. Do the tasks. Each house has 6 to 10 jobs (more with a crew):
- Clean up - bin bags and rubbish on the floor. Press and keep holding E until it's gone. Let go and you start again.
- Build furniture - a flat-pack box. Unpack it, pass the skill check, then put it together. The box turns into the real bed, sofa, wardrobe...
- Paint walls - the dull marks on the walls. Press E and paint. The mark changes to the house's new colour.
4. Head out. When every task is done, go out the front door. The whole crew comes out with you and the next contract shows on your GPS.
You can step outside half way (for a break or the van) and press E at the door to go back in.
Pay
- Every task pays the moment it is done: about $6 a clean-up, $7 a wall, $9 a flat-pack (split with your crew if they pulled their weight).
- $20 house bonus for every finished house (more with levels, x1.25 with Shoe Covers).
- Shift target: 70 tasks solo (+60% per crew mate). Everything past it pays x1.5 overtime.
- $120 completion bonus when you hit the target and finish at the manager. Bring the van back for the full bonus.
- A steady solo trainee makes around $900 an hour. Career tier adds up to +30%, VIP adds its bonus too.

Rewards shop (Reno Points)
- Shoe Covers - one pair is used per house, spotless floors = house bonus x1.25.
- Pro Roller - paint walls 40% faster.
- Renovator Toolbox - flat-packs need one easy skill check instead of two medium ones.
- Site Coffee, Water, Energy Drink.
- Looks: Painter Overalls, Site Lead Jacket.
Tips
- Split up inside: one cleans, one builds, one paints. A crew mate already on a task blocks it for you.
- Don't like the house? The leader can Swap the contract on the Operations board before you go in (once every 45 s).
