Forklift Operator - Night City Logistics

Drive a real forklift around the Night City Logistics yard on Elysian Island: lift pallets with the forks, load the
flatbed trailer, stack the high racks and empty shipping containers. OSHA is watching - the safer you work, the more
you earn.

How to start

  1. Find the gold Night City Logistics pin on the map (Elysian Island docks).
  2. Press E on Dale, the yard foreman, and choose Start shift.
  3. You are dressed in hi-vis and a hard hat automatically (work clothes stay on until you clock out).
  4. Your forklift waits in the bay. In a crew, every member gets their own forklift.
  5. The crew gets a work zone (A or B) and the first order appears: gold arrows over the pallets, green markers where

they go.

Lifting and placing a pallet

  • Line the forklift up with a pallet (gold arrow, red arrow = fragile) and drive the forks underneath it with the

forks down.

  • Raise the forks - the pallet locks onto them. The HUD tells you what to do next ("LOWER THE FORKS UNDER THE

PALLET", "RAISE THE FORKS TO LIFT", ...).

  • Drive it to any green marker and lower the forks until it sits on the marker. Done - you are paid for it.
  • Lower the forks anywhere else and you just set it down; pick it up again later.

Orders keep coming. The crew leader can pick the next order type (or cancel one) on the Operations board.

Safety score (OSHA is watching)

Every order starts at 100% safety for each operator. You lose safety for:

  • dropping a load (a hard crash, flipping or tipping the forklift),
  • speeding over 15 mph with a load (the HUD warns you at 13),
  • driving faster than walking pace with the forks raised,
  • hitting walls, racks, the trailer or other vehicles.

Your safety score multiplies your order bonus. 100% = the full bonus + 3 Safety Points, 90% = +2, 75% = +1.
A dropped fragile pallet is damaged and pays nothing - unless you carry Tie-Down Straps and it fell less than
1.2 m.

Hitting a pedestrian ends your shift on the spot (in a crew you are sent home, the crew keeps working).

Pay

  • Every placed pallet pays (split across the crew members who are pulling their weight). Fragile pallets pay 50% more

(60% from level 14).

  • Order bonus per operator: pallets you moved x bonus x your safety score, +10% for every extra crew member.
  • Shift target: 30 pallets (+60% per extra crew member). Past the target every pallet pays overtime (x1.5).
  • Finish shift at the foreman with the target met = completion bonus. Bring the forklift back to the bay or

$100 comes off it.

  • Career tiers add up to +30% on every paycheck. A steady solo trainee makes about $900 an hour.

Career tiers

Trainee Operator (1) · Operator (3) · Certified Operator (6) · Lead Operator (10) · Floor Supervisor (14) ·
Warehouse Manager (18). Levels also give Steady hands (smaller safety losses) and more Safety Points.

Rewards shop (Safety Points)

  • Coffee, water, sandwich, energy drink.
  • Hard Hat - keep it in your pockets: every safety loss is 25% smaller.
  • Tie-Down Straps - one set is used when a fragile pallet survives a small drop (the same straps truckers use).
  • Spotter Light - keep it in your pockets: the HUD shows the exact fork height and how high the pallet still is

above the green marker.

  • Looks: Orange Hi-Vis, Lime Hi-Vis, Lead Operator Jacket, Warehouse Manager Coat.

Tips

  • Slow is smooth, smooth is fast: line up straight, forks down, then raise.
  • Keep the forks low while you drive and only raise them at the rack.
  • Lost or broken forklift? Ask the foreman for a spare forklift.
  • /forkliftboard opens the job board while you are on shift.

Staff

  • /forkliftplace <key> moves a place to where you stand: foreman, bay, and per work zone a_floor / a_dock /

a_racks / a_cont (zone B: b_...). Every bay, trailer slot and rack is laid out from those anchors and their
heading (stand facing the way the row should run).

  • /forkliftplaces shows every place on the map for 2 minutes.
  • /forkliftzones shows which crew uses which zone. /forkliftreorder <crew id> [truck|container|rack] clears a stuck

order and sends a new one.

  • Kit commands: /forkliftlevel, /forkliftpoints, /forkliftcrews, /forkliftendshift, /forkliftoutfit save|reset <look>.
  • F9 → Jobs → Civilian jobs → Forklift Operator: places, players, crews, outfits, points.
