VIP Memberships

Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Prestige VIP - extra character slots, carry space, crafting, parkour, emotes, discounts and monthly Gems.

There are four VIP tiers. Each one includes everything from the tiers below it.

VIP is account-wide: it works on every one of your characters. Your tier shows as a badge in the pause menu (Esc) and in ESC → Redeem, with the date it runs until.

Before you begin

A VIP purchase on the website store, or a code that gives VIP.
A Discord account linked to your character (for website delivery and the Discord role).

Getting VIP

Go to nightcityrp.com/store and open the VIP tab (or press Subscribe on the Memberships page of the in-game store).
Log in with Discord, pick the tier and press Subscribe.
Pick your character at checkout. VIP is delivered automatically, usually within a minute. You can also redeem the transaction ID yourself in ESC → Redeem - see Redeeming Purchases & Codes.
You get a notice like "GOLD VIP active until ...".

Stacking and upgrading

Buying more VIP adds time to what you already have.
Buying a higher tier upgrades you straight away and keeps the time you had left.
Buying a lower tier while a higher one is active just adds time; you stay on the higher tier.
When VIP runs out, the perks and the Discord VIP role go away until you renew.

Crafting tab - the CRAFTING tab in your inventory (Tab) is a VIP perk. Every VIP can craft the basics (bandages, gauze, splints, sandwiches, lockpicks, rope, repair kits, screwdriver sets). Higher tiers unlock more - you still need the ingredients:

Parkour - all tricks are VIP only. Gold gets high climbs, power jumps, landing rolls and slides; Platinum adds wallruns and tic-tacs; Diamond adds flips; Prestige adds double flips, speed boost and slow motion. See Parkour.

Emotes and emojis - the VIP tab in the emote menu (F3) has emotes for each tier, and VIPs unlock extra emoji bubbles under Expressions → Emojis. See Emotes.

The apartment's owner still gets the full rent - the city pays the difference.

Casino VIP tables - any VIP tier can sit at the casino's VIP tables (Casino).

Costs & rewards

Monthly Gems - every VIP gets free Gems once every 30 days. They arrive by themselves when you log in (or while you play), with a notice like "GOLD VIP: 250 Gems added to your account".

Upgrading to a higher tier in the middle of a month pays the difference straight away.

Bank bonus and Discord role - buying a VIP month comes with a bank bonus for the character it's delivered to (bigger for higher tiers), and you get the matching VIP role on our Discord automatically.

Common problems

Perks didn't show up right away - some perks (like carry space and parkour) are checked every few minutes. Give it a moment.
The website can't find your character - join the city once with Discord open, then try again.
No extra character slot - the slots show on the character select screen; reconnect if you bought VIP while in the city.
No Discord VIP role - make sure you're in our Discord with the same account. Open a ticket if it still doesn't appear.
Your tier didn't go down after buying a cheaper one - that's on purpose: a lower tier only adds time.
