Supplies & the Supply Board
Businesses post supply requests on the city's supply board - "Tuner Auto Shop wants 20x Steel at $X each" - and anyone can fill them: get the goods (mine, recycle, dumpster-dive or buy them), drive them to the business and get paid straight to your bank. Players get the first hour on every request; only after that can the business order from an NPC supplier at a higher price.
Before you begin
- To post requests: a business rank that may post supply requests, money in the business balance, and a Delivery spot placed in Locations.
Finding a request
- Phone (M) → Jobs Board app lists every open request with the item, the business, how many are still needed and the pay.
- Or stand at a Job board blip on the map and press E on Read the job board - you can search by item name.
Accepting and delivering
- Open a request, choose how many you'll bring (you don't have to fill it all) and press Accept. Those units are reserved for you for 30 minutes and a yellow GPS route leads to the delivery spot.
- Near the spot, get out and press E on Deliver ... to .... The items leave your pockets and the pay goes to your bank.
- One supply job at a time; Drop job on a town board gives it back.
Posting a request (businesses)
- Office computer → Finances → deposit money if the balance is low.
- Supply page → New request: pick the item, the amount and the price each (within the range shown - the form suggests a fair market price). The full amount is held from the balance when you press Post.
- Delivered items go straight into your stock room. Cancel returns any money not yet paid out; units someone has already accepted can't be cancelled.
- To fill another business's request for your own business: Supply → City job board → For the business. The pay goes into your business balance instead of your bank.
When nobody fills it: the NPC supplier
- After an hour the request shows "Supplier unlocked - order it from Orders".
- Office computer → Orders → order the item, then start the delivery run from Orders. It takes you to a Supplier NPC (map blip) to collect the goods.
Costs & rewards
- Fillers are paid the posted price per unit, straight to the bank.
- Each item has a city market price: rarely traded items are worth more, heavily traded ones get cheaper. Businesses may offer between about 75% and 150% of the suggested price.
- The NPC supplier charges roughly 25-40% above the market price.
- Open requests expire after 3 days and the held money returns to the business.
