Jewellery Store Robbery
Night City Jewellers is on the map. Its glass display cases can be smashed with a gun, and each case gives you a handful of jewellery. Once the first case is broken, the store stays cleaned out for about an hour before the stock is put back.
Before you begin
- A gun in your hands: a pistol, SMG, shotgun or rifle. Knives, bats and fists won't break the glass.
- At least 2 police officers on duty in the city.
How it works
- Stand at a display case with your gun out and press E at Smash the display case.
- Your character smashes the glass for a few seconds. You can't move until it's done. Moving away or cancelling wastes the attempt.
- You get one kind of jewellery from each case: Luxury Watch, Diamond Ring, Golden Chain or the rarer 10k Gold Chain.
- Move on to the next case. Broken cases no longer show the prompt.
The first smash sends a suspicious activity call to the police, and cases after that send robbery in progress. Without gloves you will very likely leave fingerprints on the glass.
Make room in your pockets first. If you're too full, a smashed case is wasted. Bring a crew: one person on each case clears the store far faster.
After the job
Sell the jewellery at the Pawn Shop, or have it melted down into gold and diamonds there.
Staff can move or disable the display cases in F9 → World Spawns.
