Meth Vans

Turn a camper van into a mobile lab. Buy a Zirconium Journey (or Journey II) at the dealership, park it somewhere quiet and cook crystal in the back.

What you need

A Journey you own (or one you have the keys to: crew can cook in your van).
Per cook: 2x Ephedrine, 1x Hydrochloric Acid, 1x Lithium.
Room in your pockets for up to 14 bags.
A Gas Mask in your pockets. Without one the fumes hurt you and anyone standing near the van. A face mask only halves it.

There's a chem supplier who sells the ingredients and gas masks for cash, but only a few of each per hour. Ask around to find him.

Cooking

Stand at the back doors and press [E] Cook. The ingredients are used up as soon as you start.

Temperature: hold SPACE to heat the flask. Keep the needle in the green band. Going into the red zone boils it over.
Ingredients: press SPACE as the line crosses each gold mark (ephedrine, then acid, then lithium).
Cooling: open the valve (mouse wheel, A / D or the slider) to follow the green band down.

The better you do, the higher the quality (0-100%). Quality sets how many bags you get (4 to 12, plus a bonus at higher cook levels) and their purity, which also sets the strength tier (Standard, Enhanced or Pure) and the street price.

Walking away, moving the van, going down or closing the screen ruins the batch.

Risks

Explosions: a very bad batch (or boiling it over for too long) can catch fire and wreck the van.
Smoke: everyone nearby can see thick smoke coming from a van that's cooking.
Police: a cop near the smoke may notice it, and locals sometimes call it in. Cooks can leave chemical residue, and your fingerprints on the door if you aren't wearing gloves.
After a cook your gear and the van need about 10 minutes before the next one.

Cook level

Every cook earns cook XP (levels 1-10). Higher levels give a little more quality, extra bags and fewer explosions. Press [E] Cook record at the back of the van to see your level, best batch and cooldown.

Selling

Sell bags on the street like other drugs (E on a local). Until the street buys crystal, there's a buyer who takes bulk crystal for dirty money at a lower price. The money is dirty (marked bills): wash it before you spend it.

Staff

/methplace supplier or /methplace fence: move that NPC to where you stand (saved).
/methlevel <id> <1-10>: set someone's cook level.
/methclear [id]: clear cooldowns and any stuck cook for that player and their last van.
Settings live in ncrp-meth/config.lua (recipe, yields, cooldowns, police odds, explosion odds). Logs are in the ncrp_meth_log table.
