Every crime or tricky job in the city runs through the same set of skill games. Your level in a skill (see crime-skills) can make a game easier.

• Hotwire - hit the keys while the cursor is in the gold zone; at higher levels hold E to join the wires.
• Lockpicking - rake, shim, set pins or listen for the click, depending on the lock.
• Pry - keep the crowbar in the band without slipping.
• Skill bar - press the shown key when the needle is in the green zone.
• Hacking - find both codes on the screen: W A S D + Space for the first, arrow keys + Enter for the second.
• Key game - press the arrow that lights up in time.
• Pin pad, quiz, word guess and word scramble - type or click the answer.
• Safe dial - turn the dial with Left / Right (Shift fast, Z slow) and feel for each number.

Press Backspace or Esc to give up. Your other keys (phone, inventory) are switched off while a game is open.
