NCRP NIGHT CITY RP

Night City Wiki

Guides for every part of life in the city.

Handy commands

Small everyday commands. None of them have a key by default: set one in Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM if you use them a lot.

CommandWhat it does
/sitSits you on the nearest chair or bench. With no seat nearby you sit on a low wall, step or kerb behind you (or in front of you, turning round). With nothing at all, you sit on the ground. Type /sit again, or walk or jump, to stand up.
/cameramodeA free camera for screenshots. The HUD hides. Mouse to look, W A S D to move, Space / Ctrl for up / down, Shift for fast, Alt for slow, mouse wheel to zoom. It stays within 15 m of your character. Backspace exits. You can't move your character while it's on.
/fixtexturesThe screen fades for a few seconds while the map around you reloads. Use it when buildings are invisible, textures are missing or an interior doesn't load. You can use it once every 30 seconds.
/resetvoiceReconnects your voice chat when nobody can hear you or you can't hear anyone. If it still doesn't work, rejoin the server.
/hairtieTies your hair up (ponytail, bun) and lets it down again. It only works on longer styles that have a tied version.
/livery [number]Changes the vehicle's livery. You need to be the driver and nearly stopped. Leave out the number for the next one. Cars with mod-slot liveries use 0 for stock.
/harnessPuts your Race Harness on or takes it off (you can also use the item). See below.

Race harness

  • Keep a Race Harness in your pockets, sit in a car seat, stop, then use the item or type /harness. It takes 5 seconds to strap in.
  • While it's on, you stay in the seat however hard you crash. You can't get out until you take it off (use it again, 2.5 seconds).
  • Getting out of the car any other way, or dropping the harness item, takes it off. The item isn't used up.
  • Cruise control (Y) and the seatbelt (B) work as before.

Staff

  • Every command can be switched off in ncrp-tweaks/config.lua. Then restart ncrp-tweaks.
  • Config.Sit.props lists the seat props and their seat heights. Add a prop model there if people can't sit on it.
  • Config.HairTie maps each loose hair style number to its tied style, for male and female characters. These are first guesses: check them in a clothing store and adjust.
