Night City Arena

Ranked fights at the Maze Bank Arena. Walk up to the arena desk (the guard with the clipboard out front, trophy blip on the map) and press E.

Nobody really gets hurt in the arena. You get your own Arena HP (100) and the match guns. Your real health, armour and inventory stay as they were, and your own guns stay in your inventory. When the match ends you go back to the arena desk with everything as it was.

Modes

Free For All: 3 to 16 players, last one standing wins. Rifle and pistol. If the 8 minute timer runs out, the player with the most kills (then the most HP) wins.
PVP Squads: 1v1 up to 5v5. Elimination rounds, best of 5 (first to 3 rounds). Round 1 is a pistol round, the rest are rifle rounds. A round lasts 3 minutes. If time runs out, the team with more players alive wins (then more HP).
Team Deathmatch: 1v1 up to 5v5. The first team to 30 kills wins (10 minute limit). You come back 3 seconds after you go down, with 2 seconds of spawn protection.

Stay inside the arena. If you step outside the boundary you get a 5 second warning, then you are out.

Queue and matchmaking

Pick a mode (and a team size) at the desk to join the queue. You are matched with players near your rating. The longer you wait, the wider the search gets. Stay near the arena while you are queued, or you lose your spot. Teams are balanced by rating.

Custom matches

At the desk choose Custom match, pick a mode and size, then invite players by server id. Invited players accept at the desk or with /arenaaccept. The host presses Start the match. Custom matches are unranked.

Ranks

Every mode has its own rating. Everyone starts at 1000. Winning against higher rated players gives more points (Elo, K = 32; squads and TDM use the team average).

The leaderboard (top 25 per mode) updates every 15 minutes. Open it at the desk or anywhere with /arenatop. Leaving a ranked match early counts as a loss.

Commands

/arenatop: the ranked leaderboard and your ranks
/arenaleave: leave your match, queue or custom match
/arenaaccept: accept a custom match invite
Hold Left Alt in a match: scoreboard (change it in your FiveM key settings)

Staff

/arenaplace lobby: move the desk NPC to where you stand
/arenaplace center: set the fight center of the current area where you stand (in the normal world). /arenaplace radius <m> sets the boundary, /arenaplace spectate sets the camera spot for knocked-out players
/arenaplace area <open|arenawar>: switch the fight area. arenawar is the Arena War bowl interior: try it first, the floor height may need /arenaplace center inside it
/arenaend: list running matches, /arenaend <id> ends one (no rating change)
/arenakick <id>: take a player out of their match
/arenaseason confirm: start a new season (everyone back to 1000; old seasons stay in the database)
/arenaboardrefresh: rebuild the leaderboard now
