Laser Tag + Bomb Tag

Two quick party games run by Night City Laser Tag and Night City Bomb Tag. Both have a desk with an attendant (look for the blips). Walk up and press [E].

Matches are played in a private copy of the world: nobody outside can see or join, nobody gets hurt, and your real guns stay in your inventory. When the match ends you are sent back to the desk with your health, armour and clothes as they were.

Joining

Host a match: pick an entry fee ($0 - $5,000) and the player limit. The fee is paid into a pot.
Join: pick an open lobby from the list and pay its entry fee.
The host starts the match from the desk (it also starts by itself when the lobby is full). Stay near the desk: anyone more than 40 m away when it starts is dropped and refunded.
Leaving a lobby before it starts refunds your fee. Leaving a match that has started (/tagleave, logging out, disconnecting) forfeits it.
A lobby nobody starts within 10 minutes is cancelled and refunded.

Night City Laser Tag venue

Laser Tag has its own indoor venue. The street desk at the container yard takes you inside:

Pick Go inside at the street desk (hosting or joining there takes you in as well). You arrive in the briefing room.
The check-in desk in the briefing room works like the street desk: host, join, start, your stats. Everyone in the lobby has to be in the briefing room when the match starts.
Vest racks: red rack on the left wall, blue rack on the right. Press [E] Wear the vest in a waiting lobby to ask for that team. Teams are always kept even, so you can still be moved.
Matches are Team Red vs Team Blue. You start on your team's base platform (red on the west side, blue on the east). The arena hall walls are the play area: go back through a door into the briefing room and the 5 second warning starts.
Exit to the street (check-in desk or the door): back to the street desk. If you were in a lobby that had not started, you leave it and get your fee back. After a match everyone goes back to the street desk with their own clothes.

If the venue is closed for maintenance, laser tag is played in the container yard instead (Team Gold vs Team Rouge, round play area), exactly as below.

Laser Tag

2 to 16 players, split into two teams (Team Red / Team Blue in the venue, Team Gold / Team Rouge in the container yard). You get a team vest and a laser pistol (no damage, unlimited ammo).
Hit an enemy: they are down for 5 seconds (their screen flashes, they can't shoot) and your team scores a point. Players who just got up are safe for a moment.
Rounds last 8 minutes. The team with the most tags wins and splits the pot. A draw shares the pot between everyone.
If one team leaves, the other team wins.

Bomb Tag

3 to 12 players, everyone for themselves.
Each round one player gets the bomb (you see it on their back, it beeps, the fuse timer is on screen).
Holding the bomb? Walk up to someone and press [E] Pass the bomb, or punch them. You can't pass it straight back to whoever gave it to you for 3 seconds.
When the fuse runs out, whoever holds it is out (harmless boom) and watches from the side. A new round starts.
The last one standing wins the whole pot.

The arena

Stay inside the play area. Leave it and you get a 5 second warning: in Laser Tag you are put back at your team spawn, in Bomb Tag you are out.

/tagleave leave your lobby or match
/tagstats your games, wins, tags and winnings

Staff

/tagplace <spot> moves a spot to where you stand. Spots: laser_lobby, laser_center, laser_spawn1, laser_spawn2, bomb_lobby, bomb_center, bomb_spectate. New matches use the new spots; desks move straight away.
/tagradius <laser|bomb> <metres> sets the arena size.
/tagreset <laser|bomb> puts the spots back to the defaults.
/taglist shows every lobby, /tagend <id> ends one and refunds everybody.
All starting spots are first guesses (Laser Tag at the Port of Los Santos container yard, Bomb Tag on Legion Square). Please walk them and move them if needed.
While the Laser Tag MLO (ncrp-lasertag-mlo) is running, laser matches use its LASERTAG.json (briefing room, check-in desk, vest racks, RED / BLUE bases, arena box). laser_lobby still moves the street desk; laser_center, laser_spawn1/2 and /tagradius laser only count when the MLO is stopped. Starting or stopping the MLO switches new matches over at once.
F9 → Teleports → Job & business MLOs → Night City Laser Tag lands in the briefing room.
