Court House
The Night City Court House is where trials happen. It sits on Pillbox Hill downtown: look for the Court House icon on the map, walk up to the front door and press E Enter the Court House. To leave, press E Leave the Court House at the front door inside the lobby.
Inside you'll find the lobby with security and benches, the courtroom, a corridor to the judge's chambers and the records room, and the holding area with two cells.
Sitting down
Every chair and bench works: the lobby benches, the public gallery, the jury box, the defence and prosecution tables, the defendant's chair, the witness chair and the clerk's chair. Walk up to a seat and press E Sit. To get up, press E Stand up or just walk (W, A, S or D).
- One person per seat. A seat that someone is using doesn't show the prompt.
- The judge's chair and the chambers desk chair are for judges only.
Microphones
There are two microphones in the courtroom:
- The bench (the judge's chair): judges only.
- The lectern in front of the bench: the Department of Justice, police officers and anyone carrying a lawyer pass.
Press E Microphone on and everyone in the courtroom hears you clearly, even at the back of the gallery. MIC LIVE shows over a microphone that is on. Press E Microphone off when you're done. A mic also switches off by itself when you walk out of the courtroom. A judge can switch off the lectern mic.
The gavel
A judge can press E Strike the gavel from the judge's chair or at the gavel on the bench. Everyone in the courtroom hears it and sees Order in the court!
Holding cells
The two cells in the holding area have barred doors. On-duty police and the Department of Justice can press E Open cell / Close cell. Everyone sees the door move, and it stays the way it was left.

The street door can be moved or switched off in F9 → World Spawns → Court House. Moving it restarts the Court House script by itself.
