Running a Casino
A Nightclub & casino business (like Bahama Mamas) runs its own small casino floor. The games are the same as the city casino, but the club sells its own chips, sets its own table limits and keeps the house money in the business balance. The floor stays open 24/7, even when the club is closed.
This guide is for the owner and the club's dealers. Players who want to gamble should read Casino.
Before you begin
- A Nightclub & casino business (Owning a Business, Running a Nightclub) or a job there.
- The casino permission on your rank (Settings → Permissions) to open the Casino page.
Linking the casino props
- Office computer → Club page → Scan the club. This links the slot machines, the roulette, the poker table and the lucky wheel in the building.
- Missed one, or want more? Place a casino table on the Locations page. Right on top of a built-in prop takes that one over.
- Place the casino cashier on the Locations page so players can buy and cash out chips.
Setting chip prices
- Office computer → Casino page.
- Set the buy price and the cash-out price per chip, inside the limits the city allows. The gap is your cut on every chip that goes in and out.
Players get Club Chips (Club Chips). They only work at your club and are not the city's
Casino Chips.
Changing other money
- Customers use Change other money at the cashier to turn other kinds of money into chips.
- On the Casino page, set the house cut you keep and how much of the chips they must bet before they can cash out.
- The money lands in your balance as clean cash, up to a daily limit that the Back office upgrade raises.
Big amounts can tip off the police. Every change is written in the club books in your office safe, and police can seize the books.
Table settings
Every linked prop is listed on the Casino page. Keep enough in the business balance to pay each table's biggest win.
| Setting | Notes |
|---|---|
| Game | Card tables can be Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold'em or Ultimate Texas Hold'em. Slots, roulette and the wheel stay what they are |
| Name | Shown in the floating text at the table |
| Min / Max bet | Per hand or per spin |
| Spin price | Lucky wheel only |
| Dealer | An NPC dealer, or Staff dealer: one of your Dealers stands behind the table for the roleplay. The game still runs the cards, payouts and chips |
Costs & rewards
- Your income: the house edge on every game, the gap between your chip buy and cash-out prices, and your cut on changed money.
- Lucky wheel: each player gets one free spin per club per day. Chips won on a free spin must be bet once before they can be cashed out.
- Back office upgrade: $100,000 / $250,000 / $500,000 on the Club page, raising the daily money-change limit.
Thanks! Staff will look at it.
