Staff Rules
Fair enforcement, responsible access, professional conduct, and accountability.
FAIR ENFORCEMENT#
- Consistent standards: Apply the same standards to members, donors, friends, and other staff.
- Evidence and context: Review evidence and context before deciding an outcome. Explain the relevant rule and record the reason for enforcement.
- Conflicts of interest: Refer cases involving your own character, faction, business, or close associates to an uninvolved reviewer.
- Appeals and complaints: Do not retaliate against someone for submitting an appeal or complaint.
STAFF TOOLS & ACCESS#
Use administrative tools only for authorized support, moderation, or development. Do not grant money, items, information, or advantages to your own character or friends.
Protect ticket contents and personal information. Share case information only with those who need it for the review. Do not request passwords, payment details, or unrelated private files.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT#
Be clear and respectful. Keep staff disputes out of public arguments and roleplay scenes. Correct an error when evidence shows the original decision was wrong.
ACCOUNTABILITY#
Management reviews staff complaints and suspected tool misuse. Staff access may be restricted while a case is reviewed. Appeals should be handled by someone who can assess the original decision impartially.
